My work in the field of wood sculpture is not limited to specific topics. Taking inspiration from nature and natural forms of trees, I try to constantly find new images, forms and stories, which are hidden in ancient trees.
In ancient Greek mythology, Apollo is the beautiful god of light, a seer, and the patron of arts and crafts. One of his most important attributes was the lyre, whose sounds captivated with their perfection even the fiercest of deities. The sculpture 'Apollo's Lyre' is a modern embodiment of lyrical tranquility and classical harmony.
This sculpture is made from an approximately 200-year-old oak tree. Its textured surface is treated with wax and gilding. Seven brass 'strings' are adorned with candles.
The "Winged Letter B", the globally recognized logo of Bentley automobiles, symbolizes speed, technical excellence, and the superiority of this legendary brand's cars. The Bentley emblem resembles an ancient occult symbol of a winged solar disc and may have inspired the logo's design. In the 'Sunrise' sculpture, one can discern not just the famous winged logo. By rotating the central part, viewers are greeted with a rising sun adorned with golden rays - symbolizing the light of inspiration, intelligence, and readiness for new achievements.
The sculpture is crafted from a dry oak tree, over 200 years old. The wings are made from the surviving outer part of the oak trunk, and the disc is from a branch cross-section.
Candles are placed on the wings, accentuating the silhouette and visually creating an effect of effortless flight. Like the luxurious Bentley cars, each sculpture is handcrafted, demanding exceptional craftsmanship.

According to some legends, Bahrain is the place where the Gardens of Eden were located. This is reminiscent of a mysterious tree growing alone in the desert. It is not known where the paradise acacia gets its water from, but it has been growing for several centuries, and every year it only becomes more magnificent. This vitality has made the tree a symbol of victory over any living conditions.
In the sculpture, the Tree of Life is made of gilded coral, and its leaves are made of pieces of green glass collected from the coast of Sicily. Each of these fragments has its own destiny, stretching back into the past centuries. The surface is treated with wax and gilding.

A wild natural force, a living stream, the power of eternal movement – these are the associations evoked by the sculptural composition 'Wild Herd.' The artist's creative imagination transformed a fragment of a wooden trunk, horse figurines found at a flea market, and natural gilded coral into a full-fledged prairie, a distant desert land where graceful wild horses reign. Should one attempt to tame them, or is it better to leave the laws of nature untouched?
The sculpture is made from a weathered fracture of a two-hundred-year-old oak branch. The surface is treated with wax and gilding. It features coral, pieces of antique Italian stained glass, as well as candles and chrome-plated horse figurines.
The sculpture "Paradise Bird" is a stunning creation, utilizing a cross-section of a dry, centuries-old oak tree with a whimsical shape. Suspended on a nearly invisible line is a delicate, transparent blue figurine of a hummingbird, poised as if frozen in mid-air. The figurine gently rotates, giving the illusion of the bird's graceful, hovering movement.
This artwork captures the ethereal beauty and miraculous agility of the hummingbird, often associated with joy and the beauty of nature. The choice of a transparent blue color adds an element of serenity and lightness, enhancing the feeling of a bird in flight.
The base, being a piece of ancient oak, brings a sense of timelessness and stability to the composition, contrasting with the ethereal and fleeting nature of the bird. This juxtaposition invites contemplation on the harmony between the enduring and the ephemeral in nature.
The sculpture "Embrace of Zeus" stands as a powerful testament to the ancient Greek god of the sky, lightning, and thunder. Zeus, revered as the king of all gods, is a central figure in Greek mythology, surrounded by numerous legends. It has been believed since time immemorial that a tree struck by lightning is consecrated, having been marked by Zeus himself, the ruler of the sky, thunder, and the world at large. For centuries, such trees have been worshipped for their supposed ability to bestow strength and health. This work of art emanates an unseen energy, a testament to its divine connection.
This formidable piece is crafted from the base of a 300-year-old dry oak tree, once felled by lightning. The interior bears the scars of the lightning strike, a burnt surface that adds to its mystique. Adorned with candles and gilding, the artwork radiates a sense of ancient power and reverence. The sculpture is supported by a base made of Siberian larch, enhancing its stability and adding a touch of rugged beauty.
Embrace of Zeus is not just a sculpture but a portal to the past, connecting the modern world with ancient beliefs and the awe-inspiring power of nature as embodied by the mighty Zeus.
